I am very happy with this table. It is very strong and sturdy and looks great in our home. We put it together in a reasonable amount of time, but both my husband and I are good at building. The table folded like in a dream. However, the holes for the chairs are not drilled deep enough and the wood is very hard. I'm not sure what kind of tree it is. I'm guessing it's an acacia or something. It's a beautiful wood but insanely hard so screws won't go into a chair seat without a pilot hole. Short answer: if you have the hands and the tools, do it. This is a great table at a great price.
