Can't receive signals

I am very unimpressed. I like the size and looks. After that comes the descent. I can't get reception unless I take it to a specific spot in my YARD. Considering I live in Alaska and have 7 feet of snow in my yard, that's a bit heavy. Also, the dial is disabled. I chose 105.9 and ended up with 107.
