I have ordered these before and have been very happy with their performance. However, this last command was not as effective in execution. It is important that the cotton fibers are wrapped tightly into a point to be able to apply some pressure without bending the point. In this latter order, the tips are weak and limp. I am a professional manicurist and I use it to clean the area around the cuticles when nail polish gets on the skin. When screwed in correctly, they work great! Otherwise, they will snatch the wet polish off the nail and pull it onto the skin due to the dangling tips. Also, both ends should be sharp, not just one end. The other end has the same shape as a regular Q-Tip. Then why not just buy regular bait? That's why this review only got 3 stars. 1 star for performance and 2 stars for a great idea that needs improvement. I order a 2000k pack so it's quite a hassle to cut off the ends of each Q-tip before using it when I'm on a schedule. I hope the manufacturer reads this review and improves the product to meet my expectations. Many Thanks.
