I needed a duvet cover for my guest bedroom, I saw this product on the Vine listing and decided to give it a try! First of all, he's really great. I feel like I'm on a cloud. The velvet side is fine too, but that's the side with the most pleats and a zippered pocket that you can put a duvet in. It's not the best duvet I've ever had but honestly it's made for a guest room and I think it's perfect and I won't have to worry about it for a long time. It comes with white ties on the inside of the velvet part of the duvet cover for you to attach the batting and insert. The only thing I would say is be careful when removing from the plastic packing list. Basically it was vacuum sealed and it wouldn't be hard to cut the cover or pillowcases while trying to take them off! I'll try to update this review a little later to show how well it holds up to standard washing. Oh, and my cat won't stop kneading it, so if that's not a sign of approval, I don't know what is!
