There were no problems with holes.

Good solid sign. This is not a full size sign to be used on a state highway, but it works great for my private road. Also the holes are drilled so don't worry about that. They placed a printed reflective vinyl material over the sheet metal. It's not colored. All you have to do is feel for soft spots and poke holes in the front with a round, pointed object. So if you buy it for decoration. You don't see any holes.
