Easy to use. Adds strength and visual interest.
I use them for extra strength when assembling large plywood boxes (see pic in progress). The end of the anchor looks "special" compared to screw heads or nails. I've also used them on solid wood (not plywood) projects to secure joints. Again, they add both strength and visual interest.
