To my surprise this is actually a single ended cable, they don't tangle. I've seen "single ended" cables before and they've been labeled as such to reduce support calls - this cable isn't one of them. It appears to be some sort of internal reinforcement that only works in one direction to handle the length of the cable. When connected as intended, this worked with my projectors, my HDMI pattern generator, but oddly not my Sharp Aquos TV. Luckily it's for a projector so I'm lucky but I guess the buyer is paying attention. I don't know if this cable is compatible with HDCP, HDCP modes behaved strangely on my test unit. Good solid cable, otherwise I would buy this brand again.
