I used these lights in my daughter's playhouse for her. I think it was well received, looks better in person. At first I was disappointed because after turning on the light, I could only turn it on for about 2 seconds, after which it went off. This went on for several minutes as I played around with the remote (which isn't great, but for the price I won't complain), switching "modes" and so on. Eventually I noticed that the "charging" light was on, so I assumed it wasn't dark enough outside to use those lights. After waiting another half hour or so, the "Loading" light went out and I got the light to stay on. I wish I could turn off charging and let them glow at dusk, but for the price they're decent. I know the timer and I don't care about the modes, I just want them to be "on". In summary, my 2.5 year old daughter loves it so much I would recommend it.
