I put them in the fridge to cool for an extra refreshing and firming effect. The patches are soaked in a moisturizing gel and there is a spatula to take them out. It's a little tricky, but since they're in a liquid, they're more concentrated than the eye masks that come in individual packs. The gold patches are made from natural extracts of chrysanthemum flowers, on the ingredient list I think. I use eye masks during my spa day, but they also come in handy when you need to quickly "blow out" your eyes. I find that it has an instant brightening effect and smooths out wrinkles under the eyes.
