Works great as an amplifier for 1080i on 300ft RG59 cable
Works great. I'm using it as an SDI amp/reclocker on the receiving end of a 300ft RG59 cable. At 1080i, I just couldn't get the stable 300-foot signal I needed to get to class. But as I was poking around in my spares basket with various devices, I found that if I placed this splitter at the other end of the line, the signal would be cleaned up and I would get a perfect picture on the TV at the other end. Without this I didn't know how to share the video to the class as the UTP balun I tried just failed completely. So I'm giving 5 stars for saving my back.
