The pocket is approximately 2" deep to match the lower door profile. However, the fastening material is designed for hollow doors. If, like many Talon owners, you purchased stamped metal lower door panels, they will not work without additional hardware. If you use the push pins on the outside of the door, the bags will fall down. If push pins are used from the inside, the ugly pins are exposed on the outside of the door. Purchasing M10 x 1.5 threaded nuts secures the bags at an additional cost. (65 cents x 14 = $$$). If you have second seats, only half of the bag is accessible with the door closed. Pretty expensive storage for what fits and you'd better be on hand with the tools to make it work and look like it should.
