Original message: wash/dry slots may be too narrow for wet mop head. Mop pads can swell excessively when wet and have not been properly tested before being sold. However, on first use, after several passes through the wet crack, the mop pad came loose and crumpled from not being able to get into the hole. I took a closer look at the plastic part of the head. - Velcro on 3 sides not 4. The side without velcro is the only side that can go into the slot first as the head can only be folded to one side. As there is no velcro holding the lining to the plastic part, there is nothing to prevent this fabric from clumping up when pushed into the slot. Unfortunately for the company, I believe this is a mistake made when assembling the device, which could mean thousands of units were assembled in reverse order. I unscrewed the squeegee's plastic head to see if I could rotate it so the Velcro end went into the slot first, which makes the most sense, but I couldn't find a way to rotate it without damaging it. I have just requested a replacement for the same product to see if anything is different. I will update when I get a new block. If anyone from the company can reply here I would appreciate it. UPDATE: 5 stars because I got a very nice email from the company straight away this morning showing my mistake and making me feel pretty stupid. If in doubt, READ THE INSTRUCTIONS. Step 2 shows that there are pockets on the insert side of the pad that need to be placed on top of the plastic tabs before attaching with velcro (see attached photo). I've seen other posts with the same issue, so hopefully this will help you avoid the embarrassment I've just experienced!
