I love these sponges and the price is great! I started with the green sponge as I had sun burned skin and have been using it for over two months and it still works. I also started using black about a week ago just to test it out. White not yet used. I don't notice much of a difference between green and black, although black appears a little rougher. The sponges arrived in the cute heart shaped box pictured and I loved mine so much I'm ordering another box to give away. This is a very good gift at a very reasonable price. I tried not to wring out the sponges as directed, but rather to squeeze them firmly to remove excess water. I still have a window in my shower and it's still cool enough to leave it open to dry my lips. I haven't had any mold or mildew issues and they are almost completely dry in 24 hours. I hang them with a suction cup on a string that I attach to the window pane. About every week I soak them in real hot water to help with potential bacteria and even add some alcohol to the water which I sometimes rinse them with without any noticeable damage. I find that after more than two months of use, the green doesn't puff up as much as the new black, but it's still great. I mainly use them on my face. I have used them on my body though and they work great, I just prefer a large sponge or cloth. I find that when using it, it helps to put your fingers through the string to keep it from snagging on the sponge.
