Silver color fades instantly

Bought a silver belt. I knew I was literally buying the cheapest belt I could find so I didn't .I don't expect it to last much more than a season but this bad boy started to lose its silver plating when I first put it on could haunt all the places I sat looking for crumbs of silver .Would a Funny gift for someone you want to prank.
