Review on All-Weather Neoprene MudBoots For Toddlers And Kids - Lone Cone'S Insulated And Waterproof Boots For Snow, Rain, And Muck by Jessica Moore

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Warm, good quality, and good for developing feet

I've tried a lot of winter boots for my toddler (Crocs Lodgepoint, Western Chief, Northside, and a few others.), and these are the ones we have stuck with based on the APMA recommendations for a flexible toe, stiff heel, and rigid middle to prevent twisting. The toe is flexible unlike the Crocs and Northside, but they don't twist easily like Western Chief boots do. I've looked at Bogs in the store and prefer these, but they are very similar. They are the perfect temperature range for the PNW to work a rain or snow boots, and these will get lots of wear. They run a bit big (we got size 5 which is bigger than a Western Chief 5/6 and about the same as a Crocs size 6), but the size guide seems to be on point. Order based on the size guide instead of your kid's normal size.

Cons
  • The boots may start to smell after heavy use
