These weights make sous vide cooking even easier than before - you can use air displacement to remove the air from the bag quickly (without vacuum packing equipment) and do it with confidence that your food stays submerged. We've found that 1 weight in a 1 liter ziplock bag works well for eating, while a gallon bag requires at least 2 weights. The weights are easy to clean but require attention around the clamp hole and stamped lettering on the lid to ensure complete cleanliness. Basically we are very satisfied.
