The case is pretty solid, the only problem is that the rubber volume buttons don't match the iPad volume buttons so far, so there's no way to turn down the volume. I'll probably take a pocket knife to the case and cut out a space to get at the iPad's volume buttons. Further verification looks like I didn't pay enough attention to my model number, looks like I have an iPad Air 1 and not an iPad Air 2. Please pay more attention to your iPad model before purchasing. BTW this is a tuff case, my 7 month old pup snapped my iPad in this case. With the exception of some tooth marks on the front case cover and a ripped off silicone backlight cover, the iPad escaped unscathed and still looked brand new.
