I doubted it would work because I figured if the bleeder screw loosened when you applied the pedal brakes, air would be sucked back into the system from the bleeder threads. . Much to my surprise, that didn't happen and my brakes were stronger than I'd ever remembered. The part you put on the air vent seems to have a good seal. I suspect if you had rusty bleeder plugs you should replace them to avoid leaking this fitting.
