You won't be disappointed if you follow some helpful tips

A lot of people don't understand how pistol slings are made. Pistol slings can be made from two layers of cowhide or horsehide, making them very thick. Another way to achieve stiffness is to sandwich a layer of polymer between two pieces of leather laminate. This belt belongs to the newest construction. This method is also used with nylon rifle slings (Wilderness Tactical/Instructor). The leather layer on the outside of the belt is thin to make the belt stiff without bulky double layer designs. Once you understand this, you won't be disappointed if you follow some helpful tips. When using IWB holsters with clips (particularly metal clips), you get more durability from the double-layered leather belt (see Mernickle Gun Leather). If you are using Kydex magazine holsters/pouches (loop abrasion) you will probably prefer nylon or double layer leather straps. IWB holsters have leather loops as opposed to leather clips and mag pouches that snap in or have leather (less chafing) slots. If you must use Kydex, the Blade-Tech Tek-Lok attachment system, which opens/closes to fit a belt, is probably your best bet. Sizing - It's hard to find a belt that works well for carrying a dual-stack pistol like the Glock 30. IWB and then use the same belt to carry the same pistol in an OWB holster without the extra belt loop. For example, I have a large belt. I'm wearing size 32 jeans, I'm carrying a G30S interactive whiteboard in a High Noon strapped holster with a snap-lock single mag pouch. In this configuration, the buckle tongue goes through the center hole (there are seven strap holes) and it's almost perfect. Of course I will have an extra belt for wearing the OWB. So if I would mainly wear OWB I should go for a medium size (I bought this belt mainly to wear IWB so the size runs big). I hope this review helps as the people who are most frustrated with this style of belt are those who use metal clips or holsters with kydex loops that wear down the outer leather laminate and expose the polymer middle layer. Stick with IWB with leather slings, OWB leather holsters/magazine pouches, and this sling is for you (if you carry guns frequently, you likely have multiple sling/holster/pouch configurations).
