This is a thick piece of leather. It feels strong, which is what I wanted. There was a small scratch on the case, but that doesn't bother me. Either way, you'll get it after a few uses. They also sent a free leather key loop with a brass clasp that matches and attaches to the belt. So pretty! I followed the sizing guide and the strap (when buckled) has a little more extra strap behind the buckle than I needed or expected. More is better than less. Overall I am satisfied with my purchase. The key fob and accompanying card show that the company wants to significantly exceed expectations. I think they will make it.
