First let me say that this is a very thick product. This would be great for girls or boys with very thick curly hair. The smell isn't bad, but it's a strange smell. When I first opened it I smelled flowers and baby powder, but when I put it on my hair all I smelled was mint. It was very strange. Personally, I have thin, straight hair, so a little can't hurt me. I've only used it once so I can't say if it made my hair grow, but my hair is soft and shiny. I would definitely recommend this to people with very thick curly hair or people with very damaged hair. Overall not bad.
