I've used this tent on two separate camping trips thus far, and have been incredibly happy.Trip 1: 15-hour winter storm - a downpour of rain and snow. Our tent held up to wind and rain - we were completely dry. Three of our friends got flooded out in their tents, and one ended up having to pack up in the middle and leave due to it.Trip 2: very nice weather and so we took the rain cover off the second night and with the mesh roof, enjoyed starring at the stars before we went to bed. What also stands out to me with this tent:1. It's compact - if I did want to take it backpacking, I believe it wouldn't be a problem, though admittedly I'm much more of an overlander.2. Poles - through some ingenious design - the poles are one single unit, making set up very straight forward3. Hookes - you don't pass the poles through the tent, but instead attach the four corners of the tent to them and then simply hook the tent up to the poles. This makes set-up easy as well4. The pack fits without having to fight it -- a lot of camping equipment is almost impossible to repack, as if they make the packs 1 cm smaller than a normal person not working in a factory with precise instructions on how to pack it upWe put this thing through very harsh conditions, it kept up, and then we put it in very tranquil conditions, it allowed us to start gaze, and it sets up and packs up easily. Not much else I could ask for in a tent at this price point.
