The size of the bags is quite large - I can fit several bulky sweaters in just one. That's really nice for keeping a load balanced. By the time they arrived, our washer was broken so I used the bags to sort my clothes by color. When we arrived at the laundry, all I had to do was throw the bags into the washer and dryer - no worries about dryer gunk getting on them, no concerns about figuring out which were my socks and which were my husband's. Didn't even have to double check the washer to make sure I hadn't left anything (because SOMEthing always seems to disappear).Now that we have a working washer again, I'm still using the bags. They're great for mini-laundry bags, because of their large size. And again, I can sort by color and just wash bags and all. And they've been great for the bulky knit turtlenecks that I originally bought them for - much better than the flimsy mesh with big holes I was using before. I highly recommend these!
