Connected to a Pyle amplifier. I would suggest a small amp, big ones are a waste of energy with these speakers. They get in the way of the amp, but for low/mid volume they do a great job for the money, especially if you don't want 'ugly' bookshelf speakers and don't want to go the wall/ceiling mount route. Turn them on halfway through and they'll make you sad. For my personal use I would consider them for a low power Atmos setup or just rear channels. They are NOT great speakers, in fact I would say they are not very good speakers. But they are perfect for the friend I installed them for. They enjoy smooth background music without taking up counter space, and the aesthetic suits them better than other speaker designs. 5 stars for my app 3 stars for a speaker in this price range. 1 star for sound quality when used as the main speakers in your stereo. or surround sound system. The hardware seemed cheap but worked very, very well.
