At first I had problems with this hub. The first one I got doesn't always work with the second monitor. When I complained they sent me another one. The second had the same problem, but very rarely. I had some small heatsinks that I attached to the warmest part of the case and positioned the hub vertically to allow air to circulate past the normally top and bottom sides. This seems to have fixed the problem. I use Ethernet, HDMI, two USB-A ports (keyboard/mouse and webcam), and power pass-through. I plugged the USB mic into a plug on the laptop but will probably try plugging it back into the hub as things are working better now. This hub has a much more complete set of ports than other options; My laptop has USB-C that is not paired with Thunderbolt. Many other docking stations are designed specifically for Thunderbolt/USB-C.
