This charger may look and feel the same as the original Samsung charger, but it isn't. If your phone supports true adaptive charging, you'll see a "Fast Charge" notification on your phone. This charger didn't show a notification when I plugged it in. But when I plug in my OEM charger, my phone detects adaptive charging and my notification shows up "Fast Charge". What I found out through some research: This charger is a 2 amp charger. Not the same as adaptive charging. 2 amps x 5 volts = 10 watts. This means it's a constant 10 watts per device delivers 16 watts (1.8 amps x 9 volts) From 51% the power is reduced Conclusion: 10 watts is not equal to 16 watts (with power fluctuation control) I gave 3 stars because it was a makeshift original Samsung charger The scammer charges my Note 4 still with a whopping 10 W.
