We got this dress for my daughter's story project and she normally wears a 10-12 but we are 13-14 and it fits great. So be sure to go at least one size up, if not more. The sleeves are very itchy, but if you do not wear them for a long time, then everything is fine. You will also need a petticoat to keep it puffy and full like the photos.
