Started doing video interviews and needed ability to use microphones on people and needed wireless connections. I also wanted it to be affordable and hope for good quality. They really delivered from the start. There was a lot of background noise (air conditioning, traffic noise) in the area I was to interview. They did an excellent job of isolating the person speaking and delivering clear sound (especially when using a low pass filter). The ability to plug headphones into the receiver was great as I was able to make some adjustments on the fly based on how they were being sent to the receiver. Recipient. Everything worked right out of the box and didn't require much instruction (although the tutorial video on the Revain website for the low pass filter option was helpful). Being able to mic with two people at the same time was also a great feature as I interview athletes and sometimes multiple at the same time. When I first used them I had a second camera and was hearing the audio from the camera and not the wireless mics - it was amazing how much better they sounded. Other options were much higher than my price. If you are into videography and like me starting out and need gear on a budget I would highly recommend these wireless mics, they do the job well!
