My 7 year old son tiptoes. Always had been. Unfortunately, this caused some problems with his legs. He has the arch of a woman who has worn stilettos for 40 years, and his foot is basically a triangle. It's impossible to put your feet in regular shoes, so I usually have to go shopping and pick a size. They fit perfectly with a short toe length which is standard for us as we need to grow taller. The straps connect at the extreme point of the sole, unlike some sandals that leave a gap, making the shoe look narrower than it looks. The sole is a very soft, almost rubbery material that is very comfortable to walk on. They are very comfortable and seem to be much more durable than some of the cheaper sandals I've bought here and/or at Walmart. I am very happy with them and will most likely buy them again if the need arises. He loves her and that's the main thing.
