Review on πŸ¦’ Hudson Baby Unisex Baby Plush Mink Blanket - Pink Giraffe: Cozy & Adorable One-Size Blanket! by Kevin Hauck

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Soft, well made, unbeatable price (3 bought)

Absolutely recommendable. I bought 3 pink ones with giraffes. The image accurately reflects the colors. To be honest I bought them thinking I'd return them for $4.33. But knowing the cost of the fabric, I decided to give it a try. Well I was wrong. I will leave all 3 and send the link to my friend who is also waiting. Here are the main ones: No, these aren't thick plush blankets. So if you're looking for thickness, look elsewhere. But just because they're not fat doesn't mean they aren't warm. It's not breathable, so 2 layers will keep you warm. If you are unfamiliar with mink fabric, it appears silky; One side of these blankets is textured with "bulges," which are more like indentations in the material itself than added softness or an actual bulge. These are not giant ceilings. It's not like baby blankets. I photographed him full size in my crib to get a better idea of the size. I have no problem with how they are sewn. No raw edges, no skipped seams, no ribbons etc. No piping/silk which some people seem to expect although it is not as pictured and has a dated appearance. For those who say it isn't. worth the price. Generally, mink costs about $10 a yard, so you can't do it for $4 unless you get really lucky at a sale. You will also need to purchase the matching spool of thread if you already have one. And then there's the time it takes to measure, cut and sew. Also if you are looking for something "thicker", you'd better buy this comforter by splitting it up and adding your own batting.

Pros
  • Ideal for everyday use
Cons
  • Almost never
