After trying several different bike carriers I gave this one a try and I am very pleased with is. Because of the method used to eliminate any play at the trailer hitch the carrier is secured with a carriage bolt instead of a hitch pin. This makes the carrier more secure and stable but also requires more effort to put on and take off. The only change I can recommend for the carrier to angle slightly upwards at the hitch for better ground clearance I drive a midsize SUV and the hitch is kinda low). Build quality and finish are good and the carrier functions near perfect. The price is acceptable as well.
