I have several Yaesu FT-8800 and FT-8900. I love radio, but I hate microphones, especially microphone cables and jacks. In mobile use, they can easily wear out or become damaged. The assembly of the microphone cable is poor. I thought I'd try Niceshop's standard microphone. The boy was shocked. At a very good price, the mic is almost identical EXCEPT the mic cable is heavier and the mic connector is more durable than the Yaesu original equipment mic. As others have noted, the backlight is brighter than the Yaesu mic. The sound quality is the same or better. I am thrilled with this affordable microphone replacement. Good job nice shop!
