I wanted a lilac room and I want it to be soft and elegant, seven and very beautiful, and this duvet set won unreservedly. There is one complaint and I hope I can fix it, the decorative pillows that come with them are so filled with hard foam that you really can't use them on your head or you'd be at the massage therapist. They don't have a zipper so I have to go over the seam and see if I can snip some off because it's really uncomfortable and they don't sit well on the bed because they're so round even though they are. again square and oblong. Don't let that put you off buying this set, I also have lavender velvet pillowcases in Calverton, some of these myself. I wanted lots of pillows to deal with the harshness of others, I just don't know how yet. There are different shades of lavender and purple and it has a sheen that makes it a little more whimsical, which is exactly what I wanted. I use my own duster because it was brownish gray. I don't understand why they are using this color again, just cover it at the end of my bed and a dust cover with some extras I have. There is a small amount of this brownish gray color that is on the pillows but it will mix with it. I have ordered a couple of decorative quilts, one in ivory, the ivory quilt has no white although it appears to have white embroidered flowers on it, I don't think you can go wrong. If you need lavender, I have a queen and I am happy that my bedroom is beautiful!
