It's definitely real leather (love the smell). Please measure it before purchasing. He's oversized. It's longer than I thought, but that's ok. i still like it One of the reviews mentioned that you drop cards. I want to clarify. A valve (top inner flap) has handy slots and they are for your credit cards. They don't fall out. I have credit cards in RFID paper wallets and they fit. Even without them, it still fits snugly. The other slots on the inside are larger and are meant to hold a lot of items. You can be free. I didn't find that problematic. The valve is closed when you take it. I love it and would definitely recommend it. My favorite part is the center zipper when you open it. It holds loose change without much bulging like regular wallets.
