The perfect device for multimedia and work: a powerful workstation in a compact and sturdy body. Unfortunately, due to the thinness of the case, the cooling system suffered. A prolonged load on the processor and video card leads to a complete collapse of frequencies. The processor reduces to 1.7 GHz (from the base 2.3), the video card - to about 400 MHz from a maximum of 1.2 GHz. However, such a load is rare, and the laptop remains very productive, maintaining the high frequency of the 8-core processor and with a fast drive. True, it heats up at the same time capitally. In developer mode (IntelliJ Idea, building and executing code frequently, using the iOS simulator) it averages 3.5 hours of battery life. As a result, with my rather specific nature of work (all day on battery, on charge only to replenish the charge), after 1.5 years of operation, the battery has 500 discharge cycles and 83.8 residual capacity.
