Review on 📀 Enhance Your Viewing Experience with the Samsung DVD-1080P9 1080p Upconverting DVD Player by Troy Henkhaus

I recently received this player from Revain. It arrived early and was securely packaged. It is very important when buying electronics as it is easily damaged. I really like this player. I ordered a Samsung TV so I wanted to get myself a Samsung DVD player so I could use one of the remote controls that came with them both (this happens automatically with no programming or fuss). I just looked at 4 players on Amazon and chose the one with the highest rating. First of all I want to say that this is a handsome player. The picture doesn't look like much, but it has a piano gloss front and looks nice. The front is not cluttered at all. Power switch on the far left, as well as a telescopic extension. The vast majority of players are clean and open. On the far right is a round iPod-style control knob and a USB port. The LCD screen is located in the center and does not light up when switched off and does not interfere with the display of information even in the dark. It is perfect for Samsung TVs. I connected the player to my TV using a Monster 1000 HDMI cable (yes, it's overkill, but it's a fantastic price here on Amazon). You can only upconvert with an HDMI cable, and it's not included, so you'll have to buy it if you want the best picture. HDMI can carry 480p, 720p, 1080i and 1080p signals. I have a 26" 720p TV (recently bought and tested on Amazon) and the 720p setting produced the best picture for this TV. This is easy to check on your TV as there is a dedicated button to cycle through each setting. was incredibly easy. Plug the player into an electrical outlet. Connect the HDMI connector to the back of the player and to the TV. Switch the TV to the correct input. That's it. 5 seconds and your movies will start playing. We rented the Disney animated film Volt. It was very colorful and detailed. It was a pleasure to watch. The player supports autoplay, so discs automatically start with a preview and immediately after that a movie (must also be programmed on CD). I can't say how happy we were with the picture quality. The benefit here, and the reason to get this over other turntables, is the USB port on the front. If you have your own digital movies from a digital camera or camcorder, or digital photos, you can transfer them to a USB flash drive and watch them on your TV through this player. There is a USB button on the remote, but it automatically recognized mine when I connected a flash drive. This was very nice as it also converted the digital movies I was playing. I didn't notice any difference in the quality of the photos, but they were taken with a 15 megapixel SLR at the highest quality, so I can't expect miracles. Other reviews say that downloaded movies also play via USB, but I don't have them and can't test this feature. The remote control comes with batteries and is quite simple. There's no backlight, so it's hard to see in low light. There is a button that you have to press if you want to use it for TV. Since it doesn't interfere with DVD controls I leave it in the TV settings all the time and use this remote for both. The only thing I don't like is that the chapter next/previous buttons for DVD control and the channel up/down buttons for TV control are generic. When tuned to TV and trying to fast forward, the channel changes from input to cable. A minor annoyance, but this design flaw should be noted, even if it doesn't bother. Overall I am very happy with this purchase. Thanks for reading my review :)
