Review on FSOBEIIALEO Storage Ottoman Folding Footrest by Amber Chavez

I dispute, keep or return. There's nothing to complain about the quality: it's strong, there's a tough insert at the bottom for storage. I bought it as a footstool because I work on the computer all day. However, this ottoman cube is not suitable for my purpose as the padding is too thin, almost absent. The description says "High Rebound Sofa Sponge, Super Memory" but I don't know what that means. Bowel movements are hard and my heels hurt pretty quickly. Putting all my feet on the pad is fine, but my knees are sticking out over the table and this position isn't good for the lower back. I'm 5ft 4" and my legs are too high for comfort. I've tried using it as a step stool to get to the high shelves but it's too short for that. Sturdy for my 145 pounds but too short to reach the shelves comfortably. I'm going to order a proper footrest, a well-padded semi-cylinder, and see how it works. Then it is decided which ones to return. I liked the idea that this little cube could store bedspreads (you can put a whole quilt in it), but seating comfort is more important.
