I agree with other reviewers it's pointless, the company wastes so much plastic packaging, I'm trying to save the planet here and it's almost pointless when they waste so much plastic packaging. In particular, there is no reason why they need to separate sets. These cotton swabs are fine. There is a minimum of cotton on the cotton heads. There is no real proof that it is organic cotton; although there was a slight odor which could be a sign it was organic cotton (I've bought raw cotton from Revain in the past and it has a specific smell). I am not sure if I will buy them again. I guess I won't because of the minimal cotton on my head. I like my cotton swabs a little more plush. About one swab out of every plastic pack of cotton swabs breaks: I hope this doesn't happen while you're cleaning your ear.
