The coating will do the job but I don't expect it to last long.

I specially ordered a 60" cover for a 28" countertop. It hangs 14 inches, which is fine. The weight of the overhang keeps it vertical. However, the material is a bit thin. According to advertising, I had expected tougher operating conditions. That is, a thicker material than what was actually used. I'm assuming it will only last the summer. Let's see how quickly it dries and tears. For $10 each I bought 2 anyway. Daily dust washing is fine. for some oil splashes. A little extra cleaning formula usually takes care of this.

Pros

Easy to clean. In the event of an accidental spill, simply wipe dry with a damp cloth or sponge. Durable material ensures carefree eating and quick and easy cleanup. Great choice for families with children or pets!
