Review on Enhance Your Flash Photography with Selens Universal Flash Gels Lighting Filter SE-CG20-20 pcs Combination Kits for Camera Flash & Strobe Light: Color Correction Filters, Color Gels for Speedlight by Neil Biondo

Good variety of colors but CTO gel was out

I bought two sets of these flash gels for two of my Yongnuo YN-560 IV flashes mainly because I need the CTO gel to go with my Nikon fits SB-910 CTO Gel in my outdoor shoots (and other colors might be useful for wedding dances). When I tested the Selens full CTO gel I was dismayed to find that it was much more yellow than orange compared to my SB-910 + Nikon CTO filter (see photo). However, after some testing, I found a combination of Selenium gels that produced a color very close to the Nikon CTO filter. The combination that has worked the best is Oklahoma Yellow Gel plus 1/2 CTO Gel. I tested it with both combinations just to make sure if I swapped them the colors would be the same and they were. The only thing was that there was a noticeable difference in the color of the same gel between the two sets I received (see last photo). Aside from those two things, the setup works well, the rubber strap works well with my YN-560 IV and SB-910, and it's easy to use to install and replace gels. I would still recommend them despite these two small downsides to this product. Edit: After reading some of the other reviews, it seems like Oklahoma Yellow and Full CTO have switched places. While it's hard to tell (the colors on the info sheet aren't entirely accurate either), I swapped them out in my own set. Having said that, I would still need CTO 1 and 1/2 Gel to match my Nikon Speedlight. Not the worst in the world but that means I have to install two gels. Also, I might consider die cutting all the gels + info sheet to make it easier for me to keep them together, especially in the field.
