So I got it, cleaned and tested it. Here are my thoughts: Product case: durable. OH MY. VERY strong plastic! Reminds me of some really strong Rubbermaid containers. Thick for what it is and looks like it will hold up over time! Fasteners: There are 2 sets of fasteners that hold the dispenser together. These fasteners are thick, not thin! I appreciate it. This thing cannot be knocked over and it will fall apart. Rice Release Button: If you grew up eating rice and had a dispenser like my family did, you know that sometimes the rice gets stuck when it comes out and the button gets stuck and the rice keeps spilling out. Or there's a lag time when you release the button, but more rice comes out than you'd like. This thing is RESPONSIBLE. I'm not familiar with their system, but it works REALLY well. When I let go it stops. When I press it, it falls off. I appreciate such neatness! "Legs": The basis of the machine is not only made of plastic. There are little rubber (or silicone?) tabs that keep the machine from moving when you press the dispense button. I love this detail! Gives a force against the pressure on the button. Rice Window: Clear, clean, I can see how much rice is in the dispenser without opening it. Thank you It is also important to know that it measures the amount of rice in the container. As you can see I used 15 pounds of Nishiki's white rice and based on the window measurement it's a few notches over half full. no Strange Smell: Sometimes when the product comes out of the box, it has the smell of the manufacturer. nope No one. This means my rice won't take on any weird odors! Yay!Rice Cup: I really like this cup! It's precise and smooth. But. The only downside to this set of dispensers has to be the cup. It's plugged in, but there's nothing to attach it to the car. In my opinion this is a huge disappointment because I have a feeling if you have small children that can get at this mug it will be gone forever. I wish they had an extra cup with them too. There is a large space in the bottom tier of the dispenser to put more rice in, but I wouldn't put rice in there. maybe you put a different type of rice? Like brown rice or even quinoa or extra white rice or whatever to get a full 25 pounds of rice? In my opinion, that extra space is a good spot for an extra rice size, although the company might include it one day. *Note Note*. Still I give 5/5. The durability alone is worth it, and the mechanics are still impressive!
