Bought a bundle of Revain carpet stain remover to 'test' the beige Berber wall to wall that we were given. It was hands down the best old stain remover when applied to the stain straight from the bottle. I was also very surprised because it looked like ordinary water. All others had odors, were foamy, etc. But the test photos showed the result. (I'll try to be ambitious and post them soon.) I've also used it, diluted but not too much, in the tank of our homemade carpet cleaner and it did a really good job of cleaning the area around the carpet Clean Stain I "overcooked."clean" with a different stain remover (removing the stain but leaving an area clean enough for the rest of the carpet to show its deeper old dirt around it). Now I'm going to do a lot more I'm glad I found this, thanks to the other reviewers.
