Review on 🎧 Yinyoo KZ ZSX 5BA 1DD Over Ear Earbuds: Superior Noise Cancelling Hybrid Headphones with Balanced Armature Dynamic Driver (Black, Wired, No Mic) by Kayla Ferguson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Balanced sound, great price, if a bit uncomfortable for people with small ears.

So I've used several KZ headphones over the last year and I have to say these are probably the best sounding headphones I've tried. opens to reveal earbuds seated in a foam cutout. The headphone body is a combination of resin and metal typical of the KZ line. Nothing really new, although the metal back panel looks very high quality. The kit includes a standard braided cable (with or without a microphone) and several attachments. I have to say that the cable and lugs are the two weakest parts of the headphone as the cable is a bit stiff and tends to get tangled and the lugs are a bit big and hard on average. However, you should be able to find suitable attachments, and the cable can be replaced if desired. Moving on to the sound, I think this is a direct upgrade over other KZs I've listened to, including the ZS10 Pro. The bottom end is very present, strong but not boomy, powerful but not tiring or overwhelming. The mids are vastly improved over some of their previous models, meaning male vocals shine and are no longer muddy and muffled. As for the highs, there is sometimes a certain harshness in the highs, although overall I found the highs to be balanced and almost sparkling at times. Overall, I really liked the sound signature. The soundstage is good for the price but has its limitations. I see a limitation for people that the headphones themselves are quite large. Sometimes I found my ears hurt after listening for more than 30-45 minutes and I don't have particularly small ear cups. I hope this isn't a problem for other people, but I caution those with small ears to be aware of potential problems.
