I bought this after doing a bit of research and studying the light bars and finally decided that I probably would need to replace the panel I bought to be 100% happy with it. Ultimately, this looks like a pretty good start and well done. The aluminum body feels very solid with no obvious flaws, and the LEDs are powerful and bright. Keep in mind that even with LEDs, the lenses are the same for all, but the reflectors are slightly different on the outside to give the beam a "diffuse" look. " and to give a "punctual" beam. To be honest I don't think it's probably a big deal, the reflector is just nubbed enough to spread the beam a bit and the reflectors themselves are pretty cheap and not very good at reflecting well. The seal on the case is probably the most important part of it, especially if you are in a rainy/humid environment. The entire front plastic part is sealed with a fairly thick bead of silicone while the plexiglass is held in place with end caps as well as long top and bottom end caps. The end caps are fairly well made and use real threaded bolts to hold them in place, but the top and bottom caps only use self-tapping screws that dig into the aluminum case's recesses, so I could definitely have anticipated this. weaken over time and/or create a leakage path into the device. Overall I'm happy with this sealant, but I'm going to fill this entire area with silicone to provide an extra seal. The gasket on the end caps is also a potential leak path that I will try to eliminate with silicone. The only other downside to this device is the short end of the wiring and the overall galvanic isolation. The sheathing of the wires on each wire is thin and soft and seems to melt easily if you have a long wire and it gets hot. You'll also likely have to cut some of the entire case to connect them, but you will eventually do so. I ended up buying a small quick connector at an auto parts store, as well as a relay and switch so I could wire it up the way I wanted - about $20 for the parts, excluding the wire I had laying around. If you don't want to do the electrical work yourself, buy a pre-made wiring harness, but don't be surprised if you have to modify it to get it working exactly how you want it to.
