I have tried other boots on my 15 lb Jack Russell/Poodle mix and found that they do not hold up well because she has poodle like skinny legs or they are very thin difficult to put on. I decided to try this pair and me and my dog are in love. She doesn't mind wearing them at all. They are SO easy to put on and tighten. They stayed in the snow during a 1 mile (1.6 km) walk. They came loose as soon as my dog was off the leash and running around like crazy, but that was after a walk and I didn't check for loosening beforehand. They are NOT waterproof as the details say, but they weren't soaked despite walking on wet ground. I intend to protect her. I will definitely buy another pair.
