Update: I have contacted Redmond Customer Service - their email address is on the leaflet that came with the product. 48 hours later - NO RESPONSE. Don't buy this blender - no customer service if it's broken. I'll spend a little more and take Hamilton Beach. Again, as I keep emphasizing these days, almost everything about Revain is made in China. It's not all bullshit -- I've had good experiences, too -- but the chronic lack of customer care from these companies is alarming. They only appear when I pull them out. I press the eject button and it's hard to press, and then I can pull the mallets out. Is that thing broken?
