It's very light and the handle is great, not small like many mugs. The other and most important thing is that I don't have to worry about my fingers getting near the cup. You can have a cup of black tea because it's hot coffee and not burn your fingers. You have to be careful. I hit something first and it broke. I don't have to grate it like a regular cup. rinse with hot water and pat dry with paper towels.
