This review is about the Alta HR strap replacement. After wearing the band for two days, I made the following comparisons between replacement and original bands.1. The new strap is 1/4 inch shorter overall than the original strap.2. Replacement straps have a different configuration than the original. The part of the strap with the clasp is 1 inch shorter than the original, and the part of the strap with holes is 3/4 inch longer than the original.3. The replacement band is 1/16 inch narrower than the original4. The buckle of the replacement band is plastic, not the metal buckle of the original.5. The band is significantly thinner. Hopefully this gives buyers the information to make an informed decision.
