After a good cleaning, there was some corrosion in a battery compartment and the unit kept failing. Finally I checked the device to see what the problem was. when I discovered corrosion. Normally, after cleaning from corrosion, the device has not stopped and will not work anymore. Everything works as it should, only problem is the sound will blow a hole in your eardrum LOL! the sound is phenomenal, when you press the megabass button, your ears really go for it. If you stop the device for any reason, it will resume where you left off. The battery life is very good, even after playing with this kid for two days and the battery eventually died halfway. I bought this as a backup CD player in case my other one fails, but I love the sound so much I've been playing it since I've had it. I am very happy with this purchase.
