Ideal for waterproof mascara - it doesn't smudge at all. Sometimes it can be a little painful because waterproof mascara doesn't dissolve like regular mascara. You basically have to force it to let go of your lashes and the pieces of it will slide off. So I find it works best when I use micellar water made specifically for waterproof makeup and soak a cotton swab or reusable makeup pad and then hold it on my lashes and let them sit for a minute. Then it immediately slides off. You may have a few flakes left in the morning until you learn how to remove them. But you will never have black raccoon eyes. As they look, they are very cute. It's more like a lengthening mascara, it curls my lashes and makes them longer. It doesn't stick together, but it doesn't add much volume when clumps usually appear. But it will make your lashes longer. I find it dries pretty quickly so if you want to build it up it's best to do one eye at a time. But it doesn't take much to make your lashes look beautiful.
